Somalia will pursue increased cooperation with the United Kingdom in the transport and aviation sectors.
This was the outcome of the meeting held on Wednesday between Fardowsa Osman Egal and Kate Foster.
Egal is Somalia’s Minister of Transport and Civic Aviation while Foster is the UK Ambassador to Somalia.
They met in the minister’s office in Mogadishu.
Egal and Ambassador Foster agreed that the UK is capable of doing more to help improve the transport and aviation sectors in Somalia to reach international standards.
