Somalia will strengthen its relations with Sudan.
This emerged following the meeting between Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Abdel-Fattah Al Burhan.
Al Burhan is the President of the Transitional Government of Sudan.
The two presidents met in New York on the sidelines of the 77th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Their meeting took place on Friday, September 23.
President Mohamud and President Al Burhan both agreed that their nations have enjoyed long-standing strategic relations.
Therefore, they pledged to improve the relations between the brotherly nations.
