The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) has validated the 5-year National Education Strategic Sector Plan.
The government, through the Ministry of Education, validated this plan on Friday, May 6.
Somalia’s education ministry initiated the plan for the second time since the government revived and gave it more power.
Sources within the ministry indicate that the government carried out in-house consultations to develop the plan.
The consultations took place between the federal government, regional states, and other stakeholders as well as partners in the educational sector.
