The East African nation was one of the 120 countries that voted to adopt the resolution.
When UNGA presented the resolution for adoption on Friday, 45 member nations abstained while 14 voted against it.
Member nations resolved to protect civilians and uphold legal and humanitarian obligations in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine in Gaza.
