Mohamed M. Ali, the Auditor General of Somalia, has impressed upon the Council of Ministers the importance of good governance.
Ali addressed the Council of Ministers during the ongoing cabinet retreat organized by Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble.
Prime Minister Roble invited the Auditor General to attend the retreat due to the senior position he holds in government.
Auditor General Ali urged the cabinet to promote good governance to enhance “accountability frameworks in government institutions.”
He also insisted that good governance is critical for ensuring effective delivery of essential services to members of the public.
