Dr. Fawziya Abikar, the Minister of Health in Somalia, has announced that the country’s number of COVID-19 cases have reached 12.
She issued the news yesterday while confirming four more Coronavirus cases.
While sharing the news with the nation, Dr. Fawziya also said that two officials of the health ministry are among the four new cases.
Consequently, several staff working for the Ministry of Health have been quarantined to prevent the disease from spreading further.
One of the four new cases is of a man who had no history of traveling outside the country. His case has raised fears that several people he met might have been infected.
