The recently appointed Federal Election Commission (FEC) is set to launch training on the administration of elections in Somalia.
Sources indicate that the training is to last four days.
FEC personnel would also be trained on dispute resolution as elections draw closer in the Horn of Africa nation.
The training is to take place in Mogadishu.
It comes in the wake of recent demands by opposition parties for the composition of the electoral commission to change.
Opposition parties accuse President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo of filling the commission with civil servants and National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) officers.
