On the first day of the Spring Meetings 2025 in Washington DC, Somalia’s Finance Minister, Bihi Egeh, held productive discussions with Zarau Wendeline Kibwe, the Executive Director for Africa Group 1 Constituency at the World Bank Group.
Key topics included Somalia’s economic reforms, World Bank project pipeline, Central Bank of Somalia’s modernization, boosting economic growth, and strengthening institutional capacity in the country.
The meeting underscored continued collaboration between Somalia and the World Bank to support the country’s development agenda.
