The first all-women media station in Somalia celebrates its one-year anniversary.
Bilan, the media team, was formed on April 11 last year.
Its formation is remarkable considering the fact that Somalia is one of the most dangerous places for journalists worldwide.
Fathi Mohamed Ahmed, Bilan’s Chief Editor expressed delight at the accomplishments of the last 12 months.
She thanked Dalsan Media Group for offering Bilan the platform to reach millions of people around the country.
