Saynab Abdi Moalim has received an award during the Somali Leadership Awards carried out on February 28.
Moalim is Somalia’s First Lady.
Organizers of the Somali Leadership Awards recognized her for the efforts she has put in while serving humanity.
She was also recognized for her voluntary efforts towards helping disabled persons in Somalia.
Her service to mothers and infants was another reason for receiving the award.
Thus far, her charity efforts have reached hundreds of Somalis in the country.
The First Lady has played a crucial role in helping patients with eye and mobility problems to access the much-needed assistance.
