Abdisaid Muse Ali, Somalia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the opening ceremony of the 40th African Union (AU) Executive Council.
The 40th AU Executive Council is taking place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Ali has been in Ethiopia for a few days now in preparation for the AU Executive Council meeting, which kicked off on February 2 at the AU headquarters.
Several leaders of government from AU member countries around the continent are also attending the session.
