Somalia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Holds Discussions with Special Envoy James Swan

Ahmed Isse Awad, the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Federal Government of Somalia held productive discussions with James Swan, the UN Special Envoy to Somalia.

The meeting between the two leaders took place in Mogadishu on October 11.

Special Envoy Swan stated that it was an “honor to meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs.”

The discussions between the two leaders centered on several issues, which included Somalia’s partnership with the United Nations.

Furthermore, they also discussed national priorities. The current developments in the region also featured in their discussion.
