Somalia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Receives New Irish and Polish Ambassadors

Balal Mohamed Osman, Somalia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, received the newly appointed ambassadors from Poland and Ireland in his office.

Osman met the new Polish Ambassador to Somalia Jacek Bazanski in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs offices in Mogadishu.

Earlier, he had also received credentials from the new Irish Ambassador to Somalia, Ms. Fionnuala Quinlan.

The two diplomats are among the new ambassadors that were accredited to Somalia by their respective governments and nations.

They already presented their credentials to President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo earlier in the week.

Osman welcomed the new diplomats to Mogadishu.

He assured them of complete cooperation from his office and the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) to deliver their mandate.
