The Ministry of Health has established a new emergency facility for treating and handling COVID-19 cases.
Dr. Fawziya Abikar Nur, the Minister of Health, launched the facility officially on Thursday, December 24.
The facility has been set up at Forlanini Referral Hospital.
The health ministry launched the facility with support from Action Against Hunger.
Germany Embassy to Somalia and the Center for Disaster Philanthropy provided the finances needed to create and open the facility.
