Somalia’s Ministry of Health welcomed the signing of the National Health Professionals Council (NHPC) Act.
On November 17, President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo of the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) signed the NHPC Act.
Consequently, the health ministry announced the next course of action now that the Act has become law.
It announced that it would commence work on announcing the membership of the NHPC Commission with immediate effect.
Furthermore, the health ministry said that it would embark on defining its work for healthcare professionals in the country.
