Somalia’s Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management has issued an alert of an impending cyclone.
In the alert, the ministry warns residents along Bosaso, Isku Shuban, and Xaafuun to be on the lookout for a landfall.
A communiqué from the ministry shows that the coastal areas are most susceptible to the forthcoming storm.
The cyclone is scheduled to land in the next two days followed by heavy and intense rainfall.
Consequently, the ministry urges residents in the regions lying along the storm’s path to be on the lookout and move to safer grounds.
