The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management has announced the appointment of a new Director General.
Khadija M. Diriye, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, appointed Ahmed Abukar Ahmed the new Director General.
Diriye said that Ahmed’s reign as the new Director General starts immediately.
She referred to the amazing experience that Ahmed brings on board from his previous positions in public service.
Previously, Ahmed worked in various government offices as a civil servant.
He has also worked within the humanitarian affairs ministry in wide-ranging departmental capacities.
