The Ministry of Health has confirmed 13 new COVID-19 cases in Somalia, which represents the lowest daily tally since the country reported the first cases early this year.
Health officials say that eight of the new cases are in Mogadishu, which continues to be the epicenter of the virulent disease in the country. Five of them are from Somaliland.
Furthermore, health ministry also announced 12 fresh recoveries during its daily press briefings to update the country on the latest COVID-19 news.
Consequently, the tally of confirmed COVID-19 cases has reached 1,731 after adding the latest numbers.
