Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, delivered the congratulatory messages to President-Elect Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on May 17, 2022.
Qatar and Somalia currently enjoy solid diplomatic relations.
The Middle East nation has invested heavily in different sectors in Somalia and remains one of the latter’s most important international allies.
