Somalia’s Special Envoy for Drought Response attended a conference in Uganda on Friday.
Abdirahman Abdishakur, the Special Envoy for Drought Response, was in Kampala, Uganda for the Regional Inter-Ministerial Conference on Migration, Environment, and Climate Change.
He was with ministers from other countries in the region.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda was at the conference to open it officially and deliver a few remarks too.
The Somali Special Envoy then got a chance to address the conference.
In his address, the Special Envoy for Drought Response spoke about the effects of climate change on Somalia.
