The Ministry of Youth and Sports in Somalia has received a donation of office supplies and equipment from African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM).
AMISOM donated the items on November 23.
The donation included desktop computers and laptops. Conference screens, a single projector, and UPS systems were part of the equipment donated too.
Ambassador Francisco Madeira, the Head of AMISOM, handed over the supplies and equipment to Hamza Said Hamza, the Minister of Youth and Sports.
Madeira said the supplies and equipment would go a long way to keeping the youths engaged.
Hamza expressed delight at AMISOM’s gesture and said that the supplies would improve the ministry’s work considerably.
