Somalia’s Youth Ministry Signs MoU on Youth Empowerment with Mogadishu’s SIMAD University

The federal Ministry of Youth signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mogadishu’s SIMAD University in a ceremony held on Friday.

This marks a critical step toward advancing the Somali Youth Agenda.

By focusing on skills development, policy advocacy, and entrepreneurship, the partnership aims to empower Somali youth and contribute to achieving the goals of the National Youth Policy (2023-2030).

This collaboration can pave the way for innovative programs, job creation, and stronger engagement of youth in Somalia’s development.

With leadership from figures like Jamal Mohamed and Abdullahi Ahmed, there’s great potential for meaningful progress.

This initiative is a testament to the commitment to harnessing the potential of young people for a brighter future in Somalia.
