Somaliland has been accused of disconnecting telecommunications services in Las Anod.
Mohamed Irbad, a United States Institute of Peace (USIP) fellow, accused the Somaliland forces of destroying telecom lines and services in the clash-ridden city.
Irbad added that the aim of Somaliland is to hide the atrocities currently being committed in the city.
He added that Somaliland has not stopped deploying forces from Buroa and Hargeisa.
According to Irbad, the goal of sending forces to the region and the surrounding regions is to engage them in clan cleansing.
There has been no independent verification of the claims.
