Somaliland cabinet continues to prepare for the upcoming 2023 National Economic Forum (NEF).
Cabinet ministers met over the weekend to discuss the economic forum that is scheduled to run from October 14-15 in Hargeisa.
Dr. Saad Ali Shire led his colleagues in discussing the country’s preparedness for the forum.
Dr. Shire is the Minister of Finance.
The minister and his colleagues received updates from the Economic Committee of the Cabinet.
The Economic Committee presented a list of issues that would be discussed at this year’s forum. These include food security and financial services.
Participants would discuss investment facilitation, trade, and minerals too.
