The Somaliland Cabinet has emphasized the need for vigilance among the public in the face of threats from adversaries seeking to undermine its sovereignty and delay its quest for international recognition.
Cabinet ministers issued this call following their weekly meeting held in Hargeisa on Thursday.
The cabinet urged Somalilanders to promptly report any suspicious activities that may compromise national security or disrupt the electoral process.
In response, the Cabinet has also directed the country’s security forces to strengthen their efforts in ensuring national security during the critical period of election preparations.
This reflects Somaliland’s determination to safeguard its democratic process and sovereignty.
