The Somaliland government has deployed its security forces to Ga’an Libaah.
The government deployed the military to the region on Saturday.
They will provide security in a region that has witnessed an increase in the number of armed men.
Local sources added that the mobilization of armed men in Ga’an Libaah is a result of delayed elections.
Nevertheless, Somaliland parliamentarians have asked locals to maintain calmness.
They appealed for solutions via peaceful means instead of violence.
