The Ministry of Health Development launched the Somaliland Health and Demographic Survey 2020 (SLHDS 2020) on Wednesday, October 7.
Omar Ali Amoud, the Minister of Health Development, attended the launch ceremony.
Abdirahman Saylici, the Vice President in President Muse Bihi Abdi’s administration, was the Chief Guest during the ceremony.
The leaders reiterated the important role that the SLHDS plays in developing strategies for improving healthcare in the country.
They also agreed that the strategies would help to formulate suitable health policies for the benefit of all people in Somaliland.
