A Somaliland police officer suspected of murdering a civilian has been arrested.
Constable Abdirahman Ibrahim Adan was apprehended on suspicion of killing a 33-year-old man known as Mustafa Ibrahim Adan.
The officer was arrested in Hargeisa less than 16 hours after committing the offense.
A report from the Somaliland Police Force indicates that authorities are still searching for two other people suspected of having committed the offense with Const. Adan.
Mohamed Bashe Musa, his co-accused, is also in police custody.
