Officials from the Somaliland government held a meeting with visiting investors from Saudi Arabia in Hargeisa.
The Saudi delegation is in Somaliland on an official visit.
Abdulsalam Al-Enezi led his fellow investors from Saudi Arabia.
The investors attended an event dubbed “Doing Business with Saudi Investors”, which the Somaliland government organized.
Senior Somaliland government officials who were at the meeting included Abdullahi Abdirahman Are, the Minister of Investment and Industrial Development.
Others included the Minister of Communications and Technology, the Minister of Minerals and Energy, and the Minister of Agriculture.
The Deputy Minister of Livestock and Fisheries attended the discussions too.
Additionally, the Chairman of the Somaliland Energy Commission participated in the event.
Director-Generals from various ministries showed up too.
They were from the Ministry of Investment and Industrial Development, the Ministry of Trade and Tourism, and the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries.
