Somaliland police have launched an intense operation against narcotics in Buroa City.
Officers from Togdeer Regional Police Force joined their colleagues from the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (PV&PV) Committee in the operation.
They will be conducting operations against immoral activities and illicit drug trade in the city.
The unprecedented narcotics operation took place in all neighborhoods within the city.
Sheikh Mohamed Abdillahi, a senior PV&PV official, commended the police for launching the operation against different vices in the city.
Major Khadar Farah, the Deputy Commander of the Togdeer Regional Police Force, said that his officers would take action against anyone importing illicit drugs into the city.
