Somaliland’s leader has sent two cabinet ministers packing.
President Muse Bihi Abdi sacked two of his cabinet ministers on Monday, June 27.
According to insiders, the decision to sack the ministers was part of President Bihi’s ongoing reshuffling of his cabinet.
The ministers he sacked are Omar Ali Abdilahi and Mohamed Haji Osman Jama.
Abdilahi has been the Minister of National Planning whereas Jama served as the Minister of Agriculture.
A statement from the Office of the President indicates that he has already named their replacements.
Abdikadir Iman Warsame is to take over the agriculture docket.
Ahmed Adan Ahmed Buhane would now head the Ministry of National Planning.
