The government of Somaliland has announced plans to lift all the COVID-19 restrictions it put in place in the country.
Tentatively, the government has set aside June 30 as the date for lifting all the measures imposed to curb the spread of the novel Coronavirus around the country.
Some of the measures include a ban on all domestic and international flights, curfews that run from dusk to dawn, and closure of all educational centers.
Furthermore, the people of Somaliland have endured a strict limit on movement, especially for those traveling in public service vehicles.
As of today, Somaliland has recorded over 660 COVID-19 cases. Additionally, 28 people have succumbed to the pandemic around the Horn of African nation too.
