The Speaker of Somaliland’s House of Representatives has come under intense scrutiny over his role in the ongoing clashes in Las Anod.
Saleeban Yusuf Ali Koore accused Speaker Abdirisaaq Khalif Ahmed of funding SSC Khatumo forces.
Koore, a close confidant of President Muse Bihi Abdi, accused Speaker Ahmed of funding SSC Khatumo, who have been fighting the Somaliland army.
Koore, who is also the Minister of Information, said that the Speaker used his property to provide finances, fuel, and firearms to the anti-Somaliland forces.
“Speaker Ahmed is a traitor,” Koore added.
