Somaliland students are free to apply for Taiwan scholarships as of February 2023.
Taiwan Representative Office in Somaliland announced the scholarships on Thursday, January 26.
The students can apply for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Taiwan Scholarship.
Only the most outstanding Somaliland students would be eligible for the scholarships.
The representative office would select suitable students together with the relevant government ministries.
Each student selected for the scholarship would receive a monthly stipend of $835.
Taiwan’s foreign affairs ministry would provide them with one-way tickets direct to the country too.
