Somaliland welcomed a delegation of senior executives from Trafigura Logistics Co. on November 17.
A plane carrying the executives of the logistics company landed at Egal Airport in Hargeisa on Wednesday.
Senior officials from the government of Somaliland were at the airport to welcome the Trafigura delegation.
Reports from Hargeisa indicate that the Trafigura executives are scheduled to hold high-level discussions with government officials in Hargeisa in the next few days.
Officials from the administration of President Muse Bihi Abdi are meeting executives from Trafigura for the first time.
Their meeting comes after President Bihi’s administration granted Trafigura permission to import high quality fuel into the country.
