Honorable Aden Haji Ali, Somaliland’s Chief Justice and the Chairperson of the Judiciary Commission, visited different Hargeisa courts to assess them.
In Monday’s visit, Chief Justice Ali toured Hargeisa District Court, Marodi Jeh Regional Court, and Marodi Jeh Appellate Court.
Several judges and officials from the country’s Supreme Court accompanied the Chief Justice in his tour.
Ali Sudi Derie, the Chairperson of the Court of Appeal, was among the dignitaries who accompanied Chief Justice Ali.
Others included Abdi Qawdhan Abdi and Yahye Hussein Yusuf represented Marodi Jeh Regional Court and Hargeisa District Court respectively.
Chief Justice Ali said his tour was borne out of the need to assess the problems the courts struggle with, which hinder them from dispensing justice properly.
