Horizon Institute has demanded fast investigation into the rape that occurred at a Hargeisa orphanage.
The incident, which has become known as the Awo rape, shocked the country when it was reported on TV on June 20, 2020.
Horizon Institute has since condemned everything that befell Awo and her family.
According to the organization, injustice continues piling up after the rape. Awo, her family, and the children who allegedly committed the heinous have not received any justice.
Consequently, Horizon Institute has urged the government to conduct an independent investigation into the incident to grant all concerned parties the justice they deserve.
