Somaliland’s Ministry of Agriculture received a donation of farming tools from the World Vision International.
Ahmed Mumin Seed, the agriculture minister, received the consignment at the Ministry of Agriculture Building.
The minister welcomed the donation of equipment saying that it was timely since the country is grappling with the latest locust invasion.
He also took the time to hail World Vision for the gesture and confirmed that it boosts the close working relations the ministry has enjoyed with the agency.
World Vision said that the donation was to support the teams that are responsible for the locust spraying campaign around the country.
