Somaliland’s Revenues Increase Significantly in the First Half of 2021

The Ministry of Finance in Somaliland announced that the country’s revenues have increased significantly in the first half of 2021.

Dr. Sa’ad Ali Shire, the Minister of Finance, made this announcement on July 30.

He was providing the public with the latest updates on the country’s fiscal progress and the economic situation.

Dr. Shire also used the opportunity to meet with various departmental heads of the Inland and Customs department.

Managers from all the regions and districts of the country were present at the ceremony.

The minister’s meeting with officers from his ministry took place at the Ambassador Hotel in Hargeisa, which is the country’s capital.

He also told the country that his ministry recorded an average revenue upsurge of 1 percent on the projected revenue estimates between January and June 2021.
