Somaliland’s Vice President, Hon. Abdirahman Abdilahi Ismail, who is also known as Sayli’I, has announced that he is a candidate to take over the leadership Kumliye Party.
He made the announcement on Tuesday in an interview with the media in Hargeisa.
Sayli’I said, “I plan to view for the leadership of my party, Kumliye Party. Therefore, expect to see my name on the ballot during our party’s next General Assembly.”
Further, the Vice President intimated that he remains the only candidate eligible to vie for the party’s leadership at this time.
He also reminded party supporters that he is one of the founders of Kumliye Party and that his announcement comes at the right time.
