Somalis in Finland have been commended for being at the forefront of developing their country.
Franz Celestin, the Chief of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Mission in Somalia, commended them.
He added that Somalis in the diaspora, especially those in Finland, play a critical role in developing their country of origin.
“Somalis in Finland are at the forefront of enhancing service delivery back in their nation,” said the IOM Somalia chief.
“They boost institutional capacity in healthcare and education too through mentoring and training graduates and professionals,” added Celestin.
