Somalis in Sudan have been urged to register with the embassy in Khartoum as soon as possible.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation made the plea on Sunday.
The ministry’s appeal came as Sudan fell deeper into conflict.
Sudan experienced a deadly at the end of last week.
Somalia now fears that many of its citizens are caught up in the deadly clashes unable to leave.
Consequently, it has requested them to rush to the Somali Embassy in Khartoum to register.
The government intends to use their details to monitor them with a view of repatriation in case the situation worsens.
