Somalis Injured in Hayat Hotel Terror Attack Airlifted to Turkey

Somalis who were injured in the terror attack carried out by Al-Shabaab at a Mogadishu hotel in August have been airlifted to Turkey.

Some of the injured were airlifted from the Aden Adde International Airport in the nation’s capital on Friday, September 9.

Al-Shabaab terrorists attacked Hayat Hotel in Mogadishu a month ago.

Dozens of people lost their lives in that deadly attack.

Tens more were injured in the terror attack that lasted close to 36 hours until special forces arrived at the hotel and killed all the terrorists.

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has assured the injured that the government would fly them abroad for advanced treatment.

The government has kept its word by airlifting them to Turkey for further medical treatment.
