Somalis have been encouraged to reduce usage of plastic bags.
The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change issued the call on Thursday.
It reminded Somalis around the country of the impact of plastic bags on the country’s environment.
The ministry regrets the impact of the plastic bags in a country that is among the lowest producers of such products globally.
