Somtel Somalia has launched an affordable package for international plans.
In the new plan announced on Sunday, Somalis in the country will only pay $1 to make international calls.
This package applies to calls made to recipients in specific countries, though.
Somalis who take up the plan will pay $1 to make 20-minute calls to family and friends in countries such as Australia, Austria, and Canada.
It applies to calls made to Denmark, India, Netherlands, Norway, and Pakistan.
Anyone making calls to South Africa, Sweden, China, Germany, United States of America, Bangladesh, and Malaysia can do so using this plan too.
