The regional state of Southwest has expressed dismay at the conduct of the Federal Elections Implementation Team (FEIT).
A statement dated April 1, 2022 from the Southwest State House hit out at Muse Guelleh Yusuf, the Chairman of the FEIT.
Southwest State House accused FEIT of “widespread corruption.”
Apart from that, Southwest state also hit out at the divisions among the FEIT commissioners.
Recently, Guelleh cancelled some elections results.
A few seats in Southwest had their results cancelled too.
Southwest has indicated its willingness to submit the list of all House of the People (Lower House) legislators recently elected in local elections to Mogadishu.
