The leader of the regional state of Southwest has arrived in Mogadishu for the upcoming meeting between the federal and regional governments.
President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen of the Southwest state arrived in Mogadishu on Saturday, September 10.
He joins other Federal Member States (FMS) leaders who arrived earlier in the day for the Monday meeting.
Those already in the capital city for the meeting include President Ahmed Madobe (Jubbaland), President Ali Gudlawe (HirShabelle), and President Ahmed Karie Qoorqoor (Galmudug).
The meeting between the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and FMS is on September 12.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud will chair the meeting.
