Speakers of both chambers of parliament met on Saturday to discuss the agenda for the new session.
Speaker Abdi Hashi and Speaker Sheikh Adan Madobe of the Senate (Upper House) and House of Representatives (Lower House) discussed the agenda for the new bicameral session.
Both chambers are scheduled to reopen in the next few days.
They promised to rally the members of both chambers to work together for the benefit of the people of the East African nation.
