Stakeholders in the health sector gathered in Mogadishu to review the nation’s implementation of the Big Catch-Up Initiative.
Officials from the Ministry of Health, United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), World Health Organization (WHO), and other partners met in Mogadishu to review the progress of the Big Catch-up initiative.
The meeting focused on assessing the achievements and challenges faced during the first round of the initiative.
They also discussed and prioritized activities for the next phase, aiming to enhance the impact and reach of the program.
The Big Catch-up initiative is a global effort to close gaps in immunization coverage, ensuring that all children have access to life-saving vaccines, especially in areas affected by conflict and health system disruptions.
