Somali Police Force (SPF) officers have arrested a person suspected to have murdered two young siblings in Mogadishu.
The bodies of the two young children – aged 8 and 7 years respectively – were found in Mogadishu’s Weydow neighborhood on the morning of December 7.
The Tuesday incident left local residents shocked.
Several eyewitnesses – including police officers – confirmed that the siblings had their heads covered in plastic bags.
The suspect arrested over the siblings’ murder is their step-father.
